Incident Date: August 18, 2018

Incident Description
At approximately 11:16 PST on 8/18/2018 SMS, telephony and push message services were impacted for customers on the SecureAuth US1 cloud datacenter. Services were partially interrupted during this period resulting in some failed OTP or push notifications. At 14:08 PST the issue was resolved, and services returned to normal.

Root Cause
A database exceeded capacity which impacted the services.

Corrective Actions
Additional alerting is being implemented for this specific type of issue to ensure corrective action is taken prior to services being impacted. Servers database capacity will be improved to avoid exceed capacity in the future.
